Water Safety for Guides- Thursday 1 - 4:30 PM $45.00
CPR & First Aid are National Saftey Council courses. A book
comes with each course taken and is included in the course fee. No exceptions! Class size is limited to 40 pupils,
reserve early.
Adult CPR- Friday 8 - Noon $40.00
Standard First Aid- Friday 1- 5 $40.00
Water
Safety, CPR and First Aid are each pre-requisite to obtaining a guide’s license and must be kept current to continue
guiding. Water Safety, once successfully completed is good for life.
Guides Licensing Exam- Saturday at 2:00 pm. You MUST register in advance with NYS DEC by calling
(518) 402-8838. You can download the “Licensed
Guides Application”, “Licensed Guides Rules & Regulations” and the “Medical Form” here-

Be
sure to register for this exam on the NYSOGA Rendezvous Registration form as well.
Also taking place Saturday will be the Annual Meeting of the
New York State Outdoor Guides Association and election of the Associations’ officers and directors. There will be a Saturday luncheon and the annual guides’ banquet Saturday evening. An Association Board meeting is scheduled for Sunday morning.
